Dual-pot filter Desander,also knowns as wellhead sand separator, is a device used for testing with surface equipments to remove sand and other solid particles from oil and gas well effluent to prevent erosion of downstream equipment.It is a high pressure desander with anti-sulfur and anti-acid service,prolonging the service life of well testing euipments. It is mainly applied for the well cleanups of sand after fracturing and maximum sand-free rate tests. This filter is typically located at the flowhead downstream of SSV and upstream of the choke manifolds.Anti-sulfur Filter Desander seperates and remove solid particles on principles of centrifugal force and gravity. The effluents impact on the baffles and is refracted in all directions after entering to desander pot.Due to centrifugal force and gravity, solid particles settle to the bottom of the screen.The filtered liquid is discharged through the annular space between screens and desander pot.
